I don't get or make as much time for music as I used to, but I did manage to work on this slightly more concise follow up to 2022's The Edge Of Night.

The first Edge Of Night record really renewed my musical focus for this project. I'm still very happy with The Edge Of Night and enjoy that album for what it is. It was just a passion project, which is exactly how it should be for me. So, why not pick up where I left off, more or less.

With Edge Of Night II, I wanted to build on the foundation of the first album and pursue a few of the ideas I had but didn't get to pursue on EON1. The Edge Of Night II is tonally very similar to its predecessor, but leans even further into OST and BGM territory. I was not really concerned with constructing actual songs. In terms of the sonic "story" happening here, I view this as more of an in-between. If I were to make an Edge Of Night III, it would probably be a full length album again. We'll see.
