Savage Void is happy to present STRUGGLE OF MAN, a new A-Side/B-Side style single.

Struggle Of Man draws on a number of influences, such as Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Yello. I understand it may be hard to hear how, given my palette of sounds, but they certainly influenced the sound of the single - the percussion in particular. There’s an airy darkness to these two songs, informed by 1980’s Fairlight sampling and European Synthpop. At the same time though, there’s something driving and anthemic about them, powerful chords and aggressive jazz-inspired motifs carrying the songs to fruition. As a result, the tracks capture a dark retro-futurism, as much neo-noir as they are synthpop.
